Pittsburgh Facts
The T is free Downtown, and buses are free Downtown until 7 p.m. Children under 5 ride free; seniors ride free except 7-8 a.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m. weekdays. Half fares for children 6-11 and people with disabilities during nonpeak hours. Weekly, monthly and yearly passes and discounted 10-ride tickets available.
PAT's 28X Airport Flyer provides service between Oakland and the Pittsburgh International Airport. Fares are $2.25 one way.
For PNC Park: Fifteen Port Authority bus routes serve the stop on Sandusky Street at Isabella Street, just one block east of PNC Park. Those routes are 1A New Kensington, 1B Saxonburg Boulevard, 1C Middle Road, 1D Mt. Royal, 1F Millvale, 6A Troy Hill, 6C Spring Garden, 6D Spring Looper, 11A McKnight, 12A North Hills Shopper, 16A Ohio River Boulevard, 16B Brighton, 16F City View, 17B Avalon-Shadeland and 500 Highland Park-Bellevue. Auto Clinic Expert Q & A - Jan. 2006
Q: I whacked a pothole last week. I hit it pretty hard, actually. And, well, okay--it wasn't a pothole. It was a curb that I ran into in the rain because I was going too fast. My bad. Right away, the steering wheel started to shimmy. I figured I had damaged the tire, so I had my old spare, which was on a steel rim, remounted and balanced on my alloy wheel. But it still shimmies. The Neanderthal down at the feed-store-cum-gas-station hasn't any idea what's wrong, I live 40 miles from any decent garage, and I don't want to order another $600 wheel over the phone unless I am pretty sure it's bent.

Delphi Proposes Amendment To Reorganization Plan
Delphi Corp. proposed another amendment to its bankruptcy-reorganization plan, after reaching an agreement with General Motors Corp. and investors. The proposed amendment, expected to be filed today by Troy, Mich.-based Delphi with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, lists net funded debt at $5.2 billion, a reduction from the $7.1 billion cited in the original plan, dated Sept. 6.
